Papa Bear and I were sitting, watching online t.v., when a strange and wonderful Skittles commercial captured our attention. The following conversation ensued.
“I just don’t get Skittles,” I said. “I mean, they’re OK, but in the end they’re just disappointing M&Ms.”
“What are you talking about?!” Papa Bear was enraged. “Skittles are amazing!”
“What are you talking about?! I have never, never ever, seen you come home with a bag of Skittles,” I laughed.
“Umm, yeah,” he replied.
“So, you’re telling me they never make it home…that’s how much you love Skittles?”
“That’s exactly what I’m telling you.”

I. LOVE. SKITTLES. (sorry Sarah)
You know, they’re colorful and all…but the way the Skittles feel when I’m chewing them…it’s like nails on a chalkboard for me
I like Skittles, but M&M’s have something going for them that skittles never will… chocolate! And this girl LOVES her chocolate. And my belly shows it.
I only like the red and purple Skittles…so for me, they are too much work! I like to pour candy in my hand and pop it in my mouth without having to sort them! How does that even work in a dark theater!? It doesn’t! M&M’s satisfy my need for a snack with no thinking or extra work involved!;) The ONLY bad thing about M&M’s is the fact that my daughter also loves them. If I have them, I have to share them!:(
P.S. Twizzlers are my go-to movie snack! Had to share!;)
Oh my gosh, I can so relate to this! Why on earth would someone just pop a handful of Skittles in their mouth, all the flavors would be a jumble and it would just be a wreck. I do have to admit that I like to eat two M&M’s at a time, both the same color, one on each side of my mouth. However, if it’s dark, they don’t have to match, I’m not THAT neurotic, just kind of, you know, SEMI neurotic. Skittles wouldn’t work that way, it would be two different flavors at a time, and that would just be ridiculous.
I would choose M&Ms (although I think Skittles are yummy when I am in the mood!), but Drew would so agree with Papa Bear. He can down a bag of Skittles like no one’s business.
Hah! I’m like Papa Bear – half the candy I purchase never makes it over the threshold of my house.
I like Skittles sometimes. I like the red and purple ones in particular. Especially together.
I’m Team Sarah on this one. I’ll eat Skittles, but would choose M&Ms every time.
